Cindy Knighton

As the founder of Speech for Success, LLC, Cindy brings a wealth of experience to her role as a speech-language pathologist. With seven years of experience in the field, Cindy has earned both a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Andrews University in Berrien Springs, MI.

Throughout her career, Cindy has worked with a diverse range of patients, including children and adults with a variety of speech and language disorders. Her experience spans across pediatric centers, public schools, teletherapy, and rehabilitation centers. Cindy is a certified member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and holds a license in the state of Washington. She has also received basic training in Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing (DTTC) for Apraxia of Speech and DIRFloortime.

In addition to her extensive experience, Cindy has received specialized training in Sensory-Motor approaches to feeding therapy and Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy. Her commitment to ongoing education and professional development ensures that she remains at the forefront of her field, providing the highest level of care to her patients.

Cindy's passion for helping others and her dedication to her profession make her an invaluable asset to the Speech for Success team. Her expertise and experience enable her to provide personalized, effective treatment to patients of all ages and backgrounds.

Ella Wu

Ella is a highly qualified professional who has earned her Bachelor's Degree in Education from the prestigious University of Washington, and her Doctorate of Occupational Therapy from the University of Mary.

 

With a wealth of experience in various settings and age groups, including schools, outpatient clinics, outpatient and inpatient rehabilitation, and memory care units, Ella has honed her skills to provide exceptional care to her patients.

​

In addition to her extensive experience, Ella has also received specialized training in feeding therapy, and is certified in the CAN-EAT approach. Her passion for sensory integration with children is evident in her self-published book, "Sensory Integration Activities for Kids."

​

Outside of work, Ella enjoys exploring the great outdoors, discovering new places, and spending quality time with her family. Her dedication to her profession and her patients is truly inspiring, and she is a valuable asset to the team.

Rose Thorne

Ms. Rose completed multiple associate degrees at GreenRiver Community College with her license in Occupational Therapy Assistance and a focus on psychology in 2012.

 

She brings her lifelong passion for providing care to children and her experience in many of the local school districts to our clinics. She has a special interest in handwriting, soft tissue management, and sensory integration. She enjoys approaching every situation with gentleness and openness to find the best solution for quality of life.

 

Outside of her work day, Rose enjoys any craft project she can get her hands on through sewing, drawing, ceramics, gardening, cooking and fiber arts. She volunteers her time both at a local food bank to give back to her community; and on a local sustainable farm learning about animal husbandry and local medicinal plants.
