Zara achieved a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from Georgia Tech, a second Bachelor of Science in Speech and Hearing Sciences from the University of Washington, and a Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology from the University of Washington. 

Zara loves working with children of all ages and their families. She is especially interested in early language development and enjoys encouraging families to use other methods of communicating in addition to verbal language, such as sign language, communication boards, and speech generating devices, to help their children express themselves effectively.

Outside of work, Zara enjoys knitting, embroidery, baking, spending time with friends and family, and listening to audio books.
