Hali graduated from Idaho State University in Meridian, Idaho with her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and a graduate certificate in Spanish for Health Professions. Before this, she attended the University of Washington in Seattle and obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a minor in Spanish. Over the course of her time in graduate school, she gained experience working in a variety of settings with multiple populations; which included outpatient clinics and hospitals, home health, and public schools.
As a Clinical Fellow, Hali enjoys working with both pediatric and adult populations. Her areas of interest within the field include social skills, pediatric feeding, early intervention, augmentative and alternative communication/AAC and bilingual speech therapy. One of her goals is to become stronger in her Spanish fluency so she can build strong relationships while providing high-quality and functional therapy to her Spanish-speaking clients.
When not in the clinic, Hali enjoys baking, snowboarding, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends. Some of her favorite memories while traveling include holding a koala in Australia and swimming with wild dolphins in Hawaii!
